The trueO2 filter is placed in the opening of the air register, writing side first. The filter is made with zero-bypass edges to force all of the air received from the intake through the superior filter media (unlike typical air filters with a cardboard edge). Therefore, you may notice a little overhang from the filter frame – which is completely normal – but does not affect the closing of the register cover.

Most filters on the market today are made of a single layer of filter media. Particulate is drawn to the filter where dust and dirt accumulate and clog up the filter, decreasing its effectiveness. The trueO2 filter is made of multiple layers of various-sized depth loading material, allowing particulate to pass deep into the filter. The superior filter media captures more, while staying cleaner and effective longer, thus protecting your HVAC system and providing you with cleaner air to breathe. Also, as a standard, our filters are coated with an anti-microbial formula to kill bacteria, mold, fungi, etc.

Absolutely! trueO2 regularly makes and stocks standard- and most common-sized filters. Custom sizes are available upon request either by contacting us at info@trueO2.com, or selecting custom size on the shopping page.

Standard fiberglass and pleated filters should be changed every 30 days. The superior trueO2 filter media and design allows the filter to be effective much longer, recommending a change every 90 days.
